It leverages the influence of music to enrich education, promote well-being, create professional opportunities, and mobilize students and others to address individual and societal challenges, including those related to climate and urban sustainability. A commitment of $1.5 million from Drake Gives underscores its dedication to championing this bold and innovative endeavor.
Save The Music Partnership
The Drake Gives has teamed up with one of the leading nonprofits dedicated to music education in underserved public schools, Save The Music Foundation. For over 25 years, Save The Music has been actively addressing systemic disparities in music education by making significant investments in culturally vibrant communities across the United States. Their impactful initiatives have provided $75M worth of instruments and technology to more than 2,700 schools, positively influencing the lives of millions of students.
Over the past 2 years, The Drake Gives has contributed over $500,000 to support Save The Music's public school programs impacting more than 12,000 students nationwide. Almost half of these funds have specifically been used to jumpstart music programs in 5 schools in Anaheim, providing over 7,000 students with instruments and equipment.

An annual $100,000 scholarship has been generously established by The Drake Gives’ Founder, Alec Glasser, to UC Irvine students who draw inspiration from music and aspire to bring its transformative power into the lives of others throughout their careers.
